Mental health advocate and sea swimmer June Curtin of Snámhaí Sásta will join Galway fire and rescue service at Salthill’s first Swim in Pink event in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute. June will travel from her native Spanish Point in Co Clare to lead anyone willing to swim, dip or splash in pink into the water at Ladies Beach, Salthill, on Sunday, October 31st at 1pm.
